Signature extractor
Lift a signature from plain paper, refine the edges and download a transparent PNG on this device.

Photograph dark ink on plain paper in even light. PNG, JPEG or still WebP; up to 8 MiB and 4 million pixels.
Limits & compatibility
One still PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 8 MiB, 4 million pixels and 4,096 pixels on either edge. SVG and animation are refused. Header validation bounds native decoding before pixels are read.
Designed for plain backgrounds and even lighting. Automatic detection samples the edges; manually pick a background color when needed. Softness feathers color differences, not a spatial blur. Fine strokes can be lost; inspect the preview.
Edge-only removal preserves enclosed matching areas. Green-screen mode defaults to green. Cropping/padding stays inside the original image dimensions.
PNG preserves the refined RGBA pixels; optional browser WebP export may be lossy or unavailable. Use PNG when exact pixels matter.
Browser-native decoding and bounded pixel reads support the local worker; images are not uploaded. Real Safari, physical devices and full peak-memory measurements remain unverified.
