QR content is limited to 1,800 UTF-8 bytes and may need to be shorter at higher error correction. Quiet zones are at least four modules. Dark-on-light colors require 4.5:1 contrast.

Barcodes accept up to 80 characters. EAN/UPC require their complete valid check digit; Code 128 supports printable ASCII and Code 39 its uppercase alphabet.

PNG widths are 512, 1,024 or 2,048 pixels. SVG preserves vector bars and modules. Test the final exported code at its intended print size with the target scanner; scan reliability is not guaranteed.

Physical phone scanners and real Safari remain unverified.
